Nestled in the shadow of Mt. Rainier's foothills, Wilkeson Elementary is focused on ensuring that each of our 250 students meet and exceed the grade level academic standards in all subjects. This is a place that each student is expected to learn, contribute to a safe and welcoming environment and continue their education once they leave and graduate from high school. In order to make this vision a reality the staff, parents, community, and students work in collaboration. We are all in this together!

Wilkeson Elementary, established in 1913 in the town of Wilkeson, has a distinguished history and a community that is very proud of their school. The structure itself was fashioned from the sandstone quarry a mile up the road and is a gem. The students enjoy coming to school because their teachers care for them and engage in rich learning opportunities. Parent involvement is wonderful and takes the time to serve in the classroom and/or in PTA.

Take Highway 410 East into the City of Buckley; turn right, following signs to Wilkeson, onto SR-165 (Burnett-Fairfax Road). Continue approximately 6 miles. Turn left on Railroad Avenue and you will see the school on your right.
