Wilkeson Elementary School Home

Principal's Message

Welcome to Wilkeson Elementary, home of the Wildcats!

Our beautiful historic school was built in 1913. It holds all the charm and warmth of years past while being fully updated for 21st-century instruction. Located at the foot of Mt. Rainier among the evergreens, we are in a breathtaking setting, optimal for learning.

We have nearly 250 students in First through Fifth grades.  At every grade level, we provide targeted instruction to meet each student's unique needs.

Our staff is committed to using evidence-based instruction, professional collaboration, and data-informed decisions. We actively communicate progress to families and use a “whatever it takes approach” to ensure each child feels supported.

We look forward to partnering with students and their families to maximize learning opportunities.

Thank you for the honor to be a part of your child’s educational journey.

 Sincerely,
Laurie Gelinas
