Principal's Message

Welcome to Wilkeson Elementary, home of the Wildcats! Our beautiful historic school was built in 1913. It holds all the charm and warmth of years past while being fully updated for 21st-century instruction. Located at the foot of Mt. Rainier among the evergreens, we are in a breathtaking setting, optimal for learning. We have nearly 260 students in First through Fifth grades.  At every grade level, we provide targeted instruction to meet each students unique
needs. 
 
It is a tremendous honor and privilege to a part of the exceptional staff at Wilkeson Elementary. Our
staff is committed to cultivating an environment where your children can thrive academically,
emotionally, and socially. We firmly believe education is a collaborative effort that involves a
partnership with parents, teachers, and the entire Wilkeson community. Together, we support
students in the realization of their potential, helping promote academic curiosity while
fostering a love for learning.
 
As principal, I value building relationships and student achievement and am clear on the belief
that all students can and will learn. I look forward to getting to know you in the coming
years.

Two Hour Late Start

November 21, 2024 Two Hour Late Start

The start of the school day Thursday, November 21, 2024, ​will be 2 hours late.
There will be no am sessions for Preschool or ECEAP.
Full-day kindergarten and TtK classes are in session as are all pm half-day preschool and ECEAP sessions.
The start time for Kids Club will also be 2 hours late.
